VeralynVeralyn Bridges
Veralyn is blessed with a Christian heritage.  She is so thankful for the example her parents lived before her.  Her Dad is her hero.  He took around the clock care of her Mother who was bed ridden with Parkinson’s until the Lord took her home in March 2008.  He never complained and always had the joy of the Lord in his heart and a song of praise on his lips.

Veralyn sang her first solo at the age of six.  Her two sisters, whom she loves dearly, taught her to sing harmony when she was nine.  The three became “The Tennison Sisters Trio".  They sang regularly at their church and recorded an album when Veralyn was thirteen years old.

In the 70's and 80's Veralyn sang in Church with Gary McSpadden, until he joined the Bill Gaither Trio. She then began singing in a trio called "Second Mile". They sang on weekends at various churches and also for seven years on the well-known family show "Johnnie High Country Music Review".   Veralyn has shared the stage with popular artists and has recorded numerous demo tapes and background vocals.

Veralyn and her husband, Dean, have four children and sixteen grandchildren.  They are members of Bethesda Community Church where Veralyn is a choir member and soloist and Dean is an usher and greeter.

Singing for the Lord is Veralyn’s passion.  Her desire is to be a vessel the Lord can use to bring lost souls into His kingdom through her daily witness and the ministry of Hearts In Tune.

Michael Mattocks has been involved in Christian music and ministry most of his life. Raised in and around Christian music, he sang and traveled in musical groups from his college days. Singing more recently in quartets, musical groups, choirs, occasional studio recording sessions, guest solo appearances and musical missions work, he remains active in his church in Ft. Worth. He is also active in missions/church building in Mexico using his construction business as a platform for mobilizing workers.

He holds degrees in ministry and law. He and his wife Karen have five children and three grandchildren. They reside in Ft. Worth where they love to surround themselves with family and friends. As a motorcycle rider and a pilot, Michael loves to venture out frequently for fun, but still says, "Nothing thrills me as much as singing for the Lord."

Michael’s philosophy is founded upon the truth that "God's work in the world begins with His work in my heart..." and with that, he sings with Hearts In Tune.

Janelda Janelda Hodo
Janelda began singing in church with her Mom, Dad and sister.  In 1972 Janelda sang with her sister and cousin in a trio that went to nationals with the Assemblies of God Teen Talent Competition. This trio also traveled with an evangelist the following summer ministering in Arizona, Kansas, New Mexico and Texas. Janelda is a choir member and soloist at Bethesda Community Church, under the direction of J. Daniel Smith. She has participated in choir recordings, "Praise and Worship" projects and has recorded background vocals for several Christian artists.   She has studied classical voice for 13 years and enjoys singing a wide variety of music.

Janelda and her husband, Roy, live in Mansfield, TX.  Roy also has a love for music and sound engineering and is the person who makes Hearts In Tune sound their best. They have four wonderful children, two precious granddaughters and one fantastic grandson.

Janelda is keenly aware of the wonderful heritage she has of being raised in a Christian home where living for the Lord was the normal way of life. She asked the Lord into her heart at the tender age of five.

It is with great gratitude to the Lord Jesus Christ for His many blessings and for His saving grace that Janelda desires to extend God's great mercy to whomever she comes in contact with and to bring the message of salvation, hope and healing through her personal life and the ministry of Hearts In Tune
